Answer Question

Well, you really can't set up your VSAT all on your own. In fact the (FCC) that is the Federal Communications Commission specifically demands that all two way satellite systems must be installed by professionals. Installation will typically take just four to six hours but most companies that provide such a service promise to install it within fifteen working days from the day that you make the order.

VSAT stands for Very Small Aperture Terminal. It is basically a two way satellite ground station which has a dish antenna that is usually smaller than three meters. These VSATs are typically used to transmit some data like say for instance credit card for the point of sale transactions as well as for the provision of Satellite Internet access to far off remote areas.
