    Terminology of the units of measurement is these

    1- Ampere: The particle units of electric current equivalent to a flow of one coulomb per second or approximately equal to the flow of 6X10 electrons per second.

    2- Atomic Weight: The weight of an atom of hydrogen is taken as the standard; the respective weights are expressed in terms of it. The number of electrons is equal to the number of protons inside the nucleus. This number of electrons or protons is called atomic number of the atom. The total number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus of and atom determines the atomic weight of an element.

    3- Angstrom Unit: A unit of length equal to 10 cm chiefly used in recording wave lengths of light, x-rays etc.

    4- Bar: A unit of pressure equal to 10 dynes per square centimeter or 0.99 atmospheres.

    5- Bel: It is a unit of the intensity of sound equal to ten decibels and named after A.G.BELL.

    6- Board of trade unit: British abbreviation is called B.T.U a legal and commercial unit of electrical energy, defined as the amount consumed when 10 ergs of work are performed per second for one hour. It is equal to one kilowatt-hour.
