The first step is to be sure it isn't because of a health issue like a urinary tract infection, thyroid, diabetes or anything like that. Westie's are also prone to some issues that may first show up like that (like bladder cancer). Is your pup spayed/neutered? That can also be a big factor. Is there something that your pup may be a bit upset about and this is one of the ways they are trying to tell you? Any new pets or changes or anything? You may simply have to go back and revisit your initial crate training for awhile. That happens frequently as well. Good luck. I hope your baby is okay and just needs a refresher course on the potty training.
