You should answer it as honestly as you can, Ask yourself, what do you intend to do there in the first year? Do you want to establish your self in the team, build credibility, increase the sales, improve the IT systems, the filing or communications functions or Improve customer care, Whatever you job involves, generally, they will ask this question to check if you have planned things out you have a goal, which you plan to meet. They want to see that you do not have the attitude, that when you get the job, then your work is all over.
So be prepared to answer this intelligently, and be prepared to give actual details of what improvements you would make, or a process you would introduce.
This means you have to think and plan before the interview, and write down a few points to remind your self. Then review them just before the interview.
