We Live In NW Arkansas On 4 Acres On A Lake, Our Winters Are Cold, Can Peacocks Survive Well In This Area?
I think the peacock is so beautiful and would be wonderful to have roaming around on our property. Do they require a tremendous amount of care? I.e., if you were to go on vacation, other than have someone make sure they have food and water would there be any other considerations. I would love to have 2 peacocks but I don't want to put my life on hold for them, 2 dogs is enough.

Your peacocks should be able to survive the weather. You may want to build them a little coup to roost in at night though. If you happen to have another type of barn or shed already on the property this will work as well! They are pretty low maintenance and are not much of a hassle.
