What Other Fishes Can I Put In The Same Tank As Angelfishes?

I was always told not to mix angelfish with other fish but mine lives quite happy with other community fish of the same size, just don't mix small fish with them.

Angel fish get pretty big and eventually they will see the neons as a tasty snack. Try to stay with community fish that are the same size and always look at how big they get when fully grown. At the least one inch of fish per gallon.

I've always had real good luck with my angelfish and the rest of my community fish of all sizes. I do know that the larger your tank is the better everyone gets along. They have more of a chance to divvy up territories, both in the length of the tank as well as the highthand width of the tank. There is more to divide in a larger tank than there is in a smaller one. If your tank is under 20 gallons, then consider keeping community fish that are larger. Good luck!

Angel fish are sneaky predator's so as the last guys have said anything the same size or from the same area i made the mistake of putting an angel my dad got me in my community tank (guppy's neons  loachs  swordtails )and it decimated a large amount of them in 1 weekend
