What Does Extinct Mean? What Are Three Possible Reasons Why A Species Might Become Extinct?

Answer Question

Extinct means, they no longer exist, like the do do bird.  Due to lack of habitat, or as in the prairie dogs, they where too competitive amongs their own breed, and eventually, either fell prey to other predictors, or no longer found mating partners, or they lost their natural habitat due to modern industrialization.  Like Dinausours are extinct, many speculations, but scientists have never completely figured out why.  Also, some animals have been hunted into extinction by man.  This came close to happening to the north American lynx, a really cool looking wildcat, for their furs

Extinct means when one animal species dies-(is completely gone, none of that animal left), means that it is extinct.

        Reason why animals are endangered:

        They die
