By wednesday the snail had traveled 2 inches and the turtle had crawled 7 inches. By thursday the snail was 8 inches from the start and the turtle was 19 inches from it. If the snail and the turtle kept moving in the same ways, on what day will each animal reach the pond?

Turtle would reach it sometime Sunday and the snail will have died because he was moving at an unhealthy speed even for a snail :)
