    A Whitlow (the correct spelling is WHITLOW) is a pus forming infection at the end of a finger usually caused by bacterial infection. Bacterial infection could be the result of injury which has allowed bacteria to enter the tissue under the fingernail.

    Oh ok lol i have one on my toe nd its killin i always tend to get them if i paint my toenails nd thn i cant take it off because it hurts to put pressure on it nd im walking funny nd its starting to hurt my ankle

    In the toes it can be serious, it's something you need to keep an eye on. Believe me, I spent three days in hospital with antibiotics dripping into me. If you get inflammation tracking up your leg you MUST go to the doctor's or hospital.
