Well the doctors can give you creams and medicine for them. But there is an old home remedy that I used when I was little and got chiggers from playing in the woods. And that is clear fingernail polish. You put the clear finger nail polish on all the spots and it will kill the chiggers and the polish will eventually wear off on its own.

My son got chiggers when he went camping and the best way we found to rid them was warm water and bleach-soak the area for about 10 minutes and that seems to get rid of them. About a cup of bleach to a quart of warm water.
