Great Family Vacations In US...? Do You Have Any Suggestions?
Where are some great family places to take kids ages 4 and 2 here in the states? We can fly but we are also talking about driving from Indiana as well so that we might take my grandma with us (she doesn't fly).

I'm sorry that granny won't fly, because I was going to suggest that you try out my state, that would be Alaska. There is so much to see here, and so many places to go to. The wildlife is stunning, and so is the fishing. There are moose, bear, caribou, fox, porcupine, and so much more. You can see the glacier's calving, that means breaking off and falling into the ocean, you can even get a day cruise to get closer to them, puffin birds, eagles, (Homer is the best place to see them sometimes). I think you might like it. Hope this helps, sorry if you decide not to see it up here.

Thank you! It is our hope to take the kids there, but we are hoping for when they are a little older so they can really take in all the sites. My daughter still takes the 3 hour naps during day so limits a lot on what big family trips can do that might include physical exertion. :)
California has everything for all ages. The kids will love Disneyland and even at those ages can do most everything. All ages love disney. There is yosemite and other national forest. The beaches. My suggestion would be l.a. Since flying or not there is everything there. All around each other. Hollywood etc. good luck and have fun. If you drive get a portable DVD player to play movies to keep the kids entertained for the drive.

Wisconsin dells is a ton of fun for people of all ages, stay at a resort where they have activities already there.......... I recommend Christmas Mountain that is where my family went.
