How Do I Make A File On Household Finances Without Putting It Online?

Answer Question

You want to make divisions of the file under which you file the various invoices, bills etc. Here's what we suggest:
    FOOD/DRINK
    MEDICAL
    NEWSPAPERS/BOOKS/MAGAZINES
    CAR/BIKES ETC
    PLEASURE / HOLIDAYS/CINEMA/
    RESTAURANTS/BARS
    PETS
    FIXED COSTS (insurance/rent/leasing)
The sense of book-keeping your household costs is also to show any potential of SAVINGS if there's a financial crunch. You - yourself, know best WHERE this saving potential might be and you should know the costs for it + make a separate division - maybe NOT mentioned above, for JUST THAT. Is it smoking? Drinking alcohol? An expensive hobby? Make-up and beauty articles of the wife + daughters?

The really tedious task is to enter all expenses in a schedule, and add them up on a monthly and/or quarterly total, remains, however, to be done.
One last thing: make sure all those cash-sheets have numbered pages, if you let someone else do the entering on a daily basis, or else it's easy to tear out sheets in-between and lead all accounting "ad absurdum"!
