How Do You Change Mobile Service Provider?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Changing your mobile service provider is very easy. In case, you are not happy with the service your mobile company is giving you or you feel the other companies are giving a much better deal and is quite cheap to you as well, you need to change it as soon as possible. First, you need to type out a letter to the mobile company telling that you wish to disconnect your cell phone line as you are not happy with the service or any other reason that you seem appropriate. You should also mention the date you want the number to be disconnected. In case you do not mention the date, the number will be disconnected in 48 working hours.

Before your line gets disconnected, contact other mobile company and apply for a new connection. You will have to submit your photo identification proof such as a driver's license and a residential proof such as an electricity bill. You will also have to pay a small fee in order to buy the connection and activate the service and you will also be given a choice to choose your own number. After you have completed the formalities, your phone will be activated in about three to four days after verification.
