I Would Like To Adopt A 7 Month Old Cat That Was Diagnosed With Feline Aids, At Home I Have 3 Other Cats That Have Tested Negative. Can I Safely Introduce The New Cat?

The cat I want to adopt has been spayed and is 6 or 7 month old. Right now she is living with me but is in quarantine because I have 3 more cats of 6, 7 and 2 years of age. I would like to know if I can keep the cat with aids.

I have heard of feline aids and this is a queston for yor vet. It was good not to put her in with the other cats.

Feline aids is real and can cause havoc with your other cats if you don't get educated about it. The vet I went to did not recommend putting my cats together since cats often groom each other or play fight and scratch one another, so talk to your vet about this situation. Good luck.

This is something that you really need to talk to your vet about, I have never heard of feline aids, are you really sure this is what it is? I don't know. But, really, talk to your vet. Hope this helps, good luck to you.
