How Do You Cite An Article?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The basic reason a source or article is cited is to avoid the issue of plagiarism. The basic methods used to cite an article are either through capitalization, italics, underlining and quotation. The basic things to cite while citing an article are the authors name or source, the date and the page number where found. It is important to cite the original place where the article appeared, for instance if a document appears originally in TIME magazine and then in the New York Times it is important to mention TIME magazine. Smaller articles can be written using quotes while bigger ones are better written without the use of the same. A larger article is written for examples as:

Pane's Defence Journal (1998) indicated about the sub continents military equation thus:

India has recently decided to acquire Su-27 flanker aircrafts from the Russians while Pakistan continues to try and acquire the F-16 which it had earlier tried to acquire from the United States.
