    Airlines are in the business of providing transportation services to passengers or for the transportation of their freight. All airlines must have an operating license which signifies that they are fit and safe for travel by everyone.

    The very first Airline of the world was DELAG or Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft. It was a German Airline that was established on November 16, 1909. This airline had its head office in Frankfurt.  They used airplanes which were manufactured by Zeppelin Corporation. The first director of this airline was Alfred Colsman.

    The first flight of this airline was in 1910 and the airplane was called LZ7. Its route was from Frankfurt to Baden-Baden and Dusseldorf.
