The Intel and the AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) processors each have their advantages and disadvantages and as such it would be better to select one based on one's specific requirements. In case of multiple applications the Intel system supports the feature better as compared to the AMD system though the latter has the edge when it comes to running single applications. So if your work demands multi tasking it would be better to go for Intel while if it is more single application oriented then AMD would certainly be the preferred choice.
