Should I Be Concerned On Having A Shar Pei/Pit Mix Puppy?

About 2 months ago I bought what I was told a Shih Tzu/Papillion Chihuahua. He was only 5 weeks old and I bottlefed him for almost 2 weeks. At his 1st vet visit at 8 weeks, the vet said he was Shar Pei/maybe Boxer, but now hes looking more like Shar/Pit. Im deathly afraid of Pits, my son was almost mauled by one. Should I be concerned if he isnt full blooded Pit. We love him to death but have our concerns.

It is good to keep the puppy which you've got if you people love him very much. But you've also told us that it caused some harm to your child so for that concern you must change it or be careful about it. If you can save your child from harm then you should not go for a change. Otherwise do change it.

i have a sharpei pit mix, she is 11 months old and very protective of myself and my fiance. Now we have gotten i trouble from the post office (she hates mail carriers). Sasha also snapped at my granddaughter, but i have caught my 3 yr old grandaughter pinching her. Otherwise she is very tolerant of my grandkids.
