How Do You Motivate And Encourage People To Stay Longer In A Job?

Motivation is very important for the retention of an employee. There are a number of steps that you can take for better motivation and encouragement such as:
- Certifciates and awards for performace.
- Verbal encouragement
- Pay rise
- Bonuses on exceptional performance
- Employee of  the month

Give them training for the next position that  they can achieve in the company and tell them that you want to keep them as an employee of the company.

The motivation in an organisation can be there only if there are good wages paid to workers,
performance appraisal can be given to workers who is doing good job,
Proper training should be given to all workers,
proper management should be there,
Proper environmental conditions should be given,
If any accident occur so proper aid should be given,
holidays should be sanctioned to workers if they has any problems,
and proper motivational programs can be there in organisations,
Surveys should be there so that turnover should be reduced.

To motivate people you need to give them liberty in the job they are performing. Good pay comes next.
