    What is body temperature of your dog? What is litter size? What feed was used during pregnancy? What diet is being used now in your dog? Panting in dogs is usually due to fever. If your dog is having fever then she might be having milk fever that is characterized by low calcium levels in blood and fever.  This condition is caused by poor diet during pregnancy and nursing period. Milk fever can lead to death if not treated. Following are symptoms of milk fever in dogs.

       1. Nervousness
       2. Convulsions
       3. Tremors
       4. Difficulties in walking
       5. Panting
       6. Restlessness
       7. Stiffness
       8. Fever
       9. Rapid respiration
      10. Coma

    So, take your dog to vet.
