    In the first quarter of the year 2007 the campaign of Barack Obama has raised the amount to the tune of $25.8 million and it is considered to be a substantial amount in respect of many of this kind of amounts that have been raised in the past.

    There were a lot of individual donors also in his fund and the number of individuals that have contributed in the fund are 104,000. In this number you can find some online donors also and it is to the extent of 50,000. The amount that has been raised through online campaign contributed about $6.9 million in the kitty.

    One of the interesting aspects of his fund is that about $24.8 million of it is being used in the primaries only and it is the highest for all the candidates that are slated to run for 2008 presidential election.
