How Should You List References On A Resume?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A resume is also called a curriculum vitae. It is abbreviated as CV. To list references on your resume or curriculum vitae (which is abbreviated as CV), you have to prepare a separate page to list references. Your resume or curriculum vitae (which is abbreviated as CV) can say that references are available on request.

Just like the other pages on your resume or curriculum vitae (which is abbreviated as CV), the references page of your resume or curriculum vitae (which is abbreviated as CV) should also have a heading. It should include anything between three and five references in the format of the names of the references, the titles (if they are appropriate), the names of the companies for which they work (if they are appropriate), the addresses and phone numbers and how they are related to you, for example, if they are your supervisors, family friends, teachers, etc.
