My cat has been vomiting all morning. Both humans in the house were sick with a stomach virus for the past few days. Could a virus be transmitted from human to feline?

It is highly unlikely that a stomache virus could have been passed on to your cat from a human in the house. Cats that spend a lot of time out doors are at a higher risk of getting an upset tummy because they catch and eat rabbits etc., so that might be why. Don't worry about it, but if your cat is still vomiting after about three more days, take it to the vet to get it checked out. Good luck.
