Easter is celebrated around the world for many religious and commercial reasons, traditionally falling on a Sunday from March 22nd to April 25th.
It is primarily the celebration of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ in the Christian tradition, and is broken up into Good Friday (the Crucifixion), and Easter Sunday (the Resurrection). It therefore symbolically represents the most important event in the Christian calendar, and forms part of a longer Easter festival that includes Lent, as well as Jesus' life immediately before the Crucifixion.

Alternatively, Easter has become known as a holiday period in the Western world, with bank holidays on the preceding Friday and Monday, as well as the giving of gifts, most notably chocolate Easter Eggs. Some have argued that the real meaning of Easter has been replaced by its commercial dimension, but in any scenario the holiday represents the symbolic rebirth of spring from winter, and a continuing celebration of annual growth and change.

Easter is the day that we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus was crucified and died. Three days later He rose from the grave. All who believe in Him will live for eternity in Heaven.

Free your mind..It is a holiday born in Paganism..If you paint the barn friend the wood is still rotting it is still what it is underneath...You call it Resurrection celebration then get rid of all the symbols that go with it..See you can not separate them in our modern philosophy..They have grown together and contaminated the pure word...Come out from among them..Free your mind

Easter is celebrated in European countries. Although we think of them as Christian, a closer look at the history of Easter and the Easter reveals a much earlier association with pagan ritual and in particular, the pagan rites of spring, dating back into pre history.

We celebrate Easter because it is the day Jesus came back from the dead after being christened on Friday. The Easter bunny theory came a little later when parents started relating things to Spring. Only ten sorry I don't know any more.

I think we celebrate easter to worship the lord .I don't really know that's why I'm writing this letter to ask blurtit. The reason  I'm asking blurtit is because I have to write a speech about easter. So I'm writing this letter to ask blurtit what is easter all about. The only thing I know about easter is that the reason we celebrate easter is because Sunday morning the lord rose from his death. And that's the only thing I know about easter. But I'm trying to get more info on Easter .So I was writing this to ask what's the second part os easter.
