Usually, the baby eats what you eat, so if you ate something that has brought this on, then the odds are that baby will get it, unless of course baby doesn't have the same sensitivity that you have to this food or drink. An illness is a little different. Sometimes they get it a day or so after you. So then it would be safe to assume that the baby is going to get ill no matter what, because of the closeness between you and the baby.

Do what you can to comfort, and be patient, they don't really understand what is happening, they just see that they don't feel good. Good luck.
