St Andrew is located on the eastern coast of Fife in Scotland. It is named after the Apostle of Saint Andrew. The town has a small population of roughly 19,000. The town lies on the coast of the North Sea between the towns of Dundee and Edinburgh. The University of St Andrews is the oldest university in Scotland.

The town of St Andrew is also known as the 'Home of Golf" simply for the reasons that the Royal and Ancient Golf Club was founded hear in the year 1754. The second reason being the very beautiful links which is the venue for The Open Championship. It is considered as the tournament of the four major championships.
