How Long Does It Take To Fly Between Glasgow Scotland And Stornoway Scotland ?

It takes 55 minutes to fly from Glasgow International Airport to Stornoway with British Airways. The service is carried out by BA franchise company, Loganair, using a modern Saab turbo-prop aircraft. Off the top of my head, it's a 48 seater. Not the largest plane you'll have travelled on, but certainly not the smallest passenger aircraft around.

The service operates all year round, seven days a week, Monday to Friday there are three flights, leaving Glasgow at 7 am, 1 pm and 3.30 pm. On Saturdays there are two flights, at 9 am and 3 pm, and on Sundays there is only one flight departing at 4 pm.

It is also possible to fly to Stornoway from Inverness or take an inter-island flight from the south. Alternatively, you could fly to Barra (landing on the beach) and then head north to Benbecula and fly to Stornoway from there.

Prices have fallen but still aren't budget airline.
