You don't need a specific amount in your account. All the entry clearance officers are looking for is a regular income coming into your account which shows that you are earning and can support your wife. If you are on benefits then it would be difficult to get a visa for your wife. The main documents you would need are:
1. A letter from your employer (which could be your employment contract).
2. A tenancy agreement for your accommodation if it's rental and other relevant documents if you own it.
3. Your bank statements.
4. Payslips.
5.Your marriage certificate.
Don't present any fake documents, they will be caught and your wife will have to wait forever to get entry clearance.
