Do You Think Children Are Becoming Grown Up Too Fast?

Answer Question

Yes, children are growing up too fast.  But, its a sign of the times, we live in a faster paced enviroment and world, as compared to what times were like when our parents were kids, and our grandparents were kids.  Things were alot different back then, more simple.  Today life is so hectic and complex, not just for us as adults but for our children as well.

Yes they are, and it is very sad.  Children should be children for at least ten years, but today, it seems like childhood and innocence slip away so fast.

Some maybe, but as a kid I was always considered mature for my age.

Most definitely nowadays. I see most of these new mothers wishing their child came with a college diploma already and could then support momma. With all our advanced technology, we sure arent letting our kids just be kids and enjoy their young lives anymore but someday too that will come back to haunt them

Some people think children are expiriencing adult situations like having sex and expirimenting with drugs and they try to act older but talking older and (particually with the girls) waring make up and wearing revealing clothing. Does that help at all? I dont think it does but thats just my opinion about the topic =)

Yes, I think that children are growing up too fast,  because of all  the media such as movies, magazines, TV shows & more.  I'm up for a good debate!

If you talk about growing physically then its the same as its the nature of growth and nothing can change that, but yes, mentally children of today's are growing at a much faster rate compared to that of 5 or 10 years back.
