The Great Seal of the State of Florida is applied to symbolize the Government of the State of Florida, and for different official reason, like to seal authorized papers. It is also often applied on state government buildings, automobiles and additional effects of the state government.

The seal has on it a Seminole Native American lady who is spreading flowers on the centre, a sabal palm, which is the state tree of Florida, all along the shoreline. The initial version of the Florida State seal was created in the year 1861, and had a palm tree along with a broadleaf tree, with liberty in the forefront sitting with boxes and barrels kept at her feet.

The Seal earlier had quite a few elements which thought to be inaccurate.
