Decorating can be very exciting. Sometimes we care about what other people think. Not to say it in a mean way. Sometimes we shoud take risks and do what we want. You should use the color that is most preferred by you and your family. Take a risk!!! let your imagination do it!!

The best thing to do is get a few samples of wooden flooring to take home and match against your furniture.
There aren't any hard and fast rules as to what colours you should have. Wood is so natural and beech is a good colour to contrast or match with.
Sometimes it's nice to have a complete contrast and perhaps a darker wood would suit your room.
Take into account how much furniture you have and how large the room is as darker colours tend to make the room look smaller.
Real wood flooring comes in so many beautiful colours is hard to say what would look good in your room as you have to think of your decore too. It's easier to change furniture than a real wood floor if you've made a mistake or fancy a change in the future so I would be inclined to go for ( and have) the flooring you feel is your favourite rather than looking for a complete match. Most outlets that supply flooring will be happy to let you have samples to take home so enoy making your choice when you've had a good look at what's on offer.
Nothing is nicer than a real wood floor.
