I do not drive myself but i have been surprised how many people continue to buy cars dispite the sharp increase in the cost of running them

Most analysts assumed that drivers in the United States would start rebelling, by driving less or giving up their vehicles altogether, if petrol ever hit $4 per gallon. It now stands at around $4.10 at most pumps, but there is no real change in driving patterns. I would seriously consider giving up my car if gas were to hit $5, which is now a distinct possibility.
