From what I have found on the web, I would strongly advise to speak to your doctor about this, as there may indeed be a risk in taking anti-depressants whilst pregnant.
One source on the internet says:
(link>>)www.rcpsych.ac.uk
"It is always best to take as little as possible in the way of medication during pregnancy, especially during the first 3 months.
There is recent evidence of an increase in congenital malformations in babies of mothers who took antidepressants during this time.
However, some mothers do have to take anti-depressants during pregnancy and the risks need to be balanced according to doctor."
So, in any case where there is a risk to an un-born child, especially dealing with medication, talking to your doctor before anything is the best and safest option :)
Good luck and hope this helps :)
