    My Boyfriend Will Be Traveling In The United States With A Mexican ID Card. Will That Be Sufficient Or Does He Need To Be A United States Resident?

    He is an immigrant living in California. Will he still be able to travel?

    He need to show his passport while traveling in US. As he is an immigrant, his only identity is his passport. After he will get permanent residence status he then has to apply for citizenship to freely move in US on his ID card.
