To freeze OFF the cob:  This works for about 24 to 30 ears. Peel back/remove the husks, break or cut off any of the husk that is remaining, and remove any silk fibers. Cut the kernels from the cobs with a sharp knife, going down in rows, close to the cob. Put kernels in a pot with sugar (about 1/2 to 3/4 cup), salt (about 1/8 cup or a little less) and about 6-7 cups water. Boil for about 5 minutes.  Cool and drain well.  Put in freezer bags according to quantities of your own preference.

To freeze ON the cob:Remove husks and silks from corns.
Rinse corn after husking, cleaning silk.  Different size ears will take different times.  Boil small corn-on-the-cob for 7 minutes, medium-size corn-on-the-cob for 9 minutes, larger corn-on-the-cob for 11 minutes.  Cool corn-on-the-cob in cold water, changing water often. (Cool for approximately the same time as the blanching time. )Freeze in airtight freezer bags or containers.

I would appreciate it if you would rate my answer.  Good  luck!
