Answer Question

Stuart Green is a profesional footballer who currently plays for Crystal Palace FC. He was born in Whitehaven on 15 June 1981. He is an attacking midfielder who can be used either in the centre or on the right wing. After being loaned by Hull City from Newcastle United in 2001, Hull boss Peter Taylor signed him for £150 thousand just before the club moved to their new Kingston Communications Stadium. He scored in the opening game at the Tigers' new ground in a 2-0 victory over Hartlepool United.

After falling out with manager Peter Taylor, he failed to turn up to a match he had been dropped from and went on loan to Carlisle United until the end of the season. He also managed to fall out with Carlisle manager Roddy Collins and moved back to Hull, where supporters gave him a mixed reception.
But Green became an important first team member, scoring 18 goals in 114 appearances, and was a fans favourite thanks to his attractive play and flair. He was an influential member of The Tigers team which achieved two successive promotions under the club's most successful manager, Peter Taylor. After accepting a job at Crystal Palace, Taylor made a swoop for Green, who was not getting games for Hull, and signed him for just £75,000.
