How Do I Convert Files To Another Format?

It depends on which type of files you wish to convert, and what you wish to convert them into.

First of all, though, to discover which options you have, open the document you wish to convert. Then go File and Save As. When the dialogue box opens, underneath where the file name is entered, is a second box that determines the file type of the document you wish to save. Beside this box there is a down arrow, clicking this will present, usually, a list of alternative file type/formats that you can save the open document into.

Hopefully, you will see the format you wish in this drop down menu. If so, select it and rename the document. Renaming the document will ensure the original remains untouched and that a new copy in the new format is saved instead.

If after clicking Save, you say another dialogue box asking about saving changes to the original document, click no.
