During late 19th century, European arts movement  including art and literature centralized on the doctrine of an existence for the sake of beauty itself along with the refinement of  sensual pleasure and not a mere sentimental message is known as aestheticism. Every movement or revaluation has its own cause. Aestheticism began in reaction to prevailing to Utilitarian social philosophies and to the perceived ugliness and philistinism of the industrial age. Immanuel Kant, the philosophical founder of aestheticism, proposed that aesthetic standards could be separated from morality, utility or pleasure. The main theme comprising the movement primarily includes several number of features such as suggestive phenomenon instead of a mere statement, sensuality and a good synchronization among words, colours and music. Oscar Wild, Whistlers and Stephen Mallarme were the proponents of the movement for aestheticism. The aestheticism movement had a strong resemblance with the Symbolism or Decadence stood for in France.
