Holes for line post are 6 inches in diameter and 18-24 inches deep depending on the fence height and conditions of the soil. Depending on the condition of the soil and drainage, you may have to add extra layer of gravel on the bottom of the hole, few inches deep. Adjust the height of every post so that it measures 45" from the soil to the top.
