I Have 4 Quarter Sized Welts On My Back, Thought They Were Chiggers, Itching Horribly, An Open Sore On The Top. Now Along With The Itching My Back Is Sore All Around The Area. Used Nail Polish, Didn't Help. What Can I Do?

I have been bitten by something. I thought it was chiggers, or mosquitoes, but now the entire area around the bites feels sore, kind of bruised. There are 3 in close range and another in the middle of my back, they are larger than a quarter and raised, big red whelps, open on top, they itch constantly. My rib cage on my left side and under my arm feel like I've been kicked. I rolled over in bed, having trouble sleeping, just in time to see a clear, white, spider descend from my ceiling. Woke up with these.

Sounds like spider bites. You might want to get that checked out. If the cortisone doesn't work. The bad thing i've found with spider bites are some get worse and don't get better with time. The more poisonous the more lingering and extensive the problems. If its chigger bites. They itch like crazy, if it likes like a pimple, with a white head it could be fire ant bites. Then just take a needle open the pimple put peroxide and then alcohol on it. Then some neosporin with the the lidocaine in it.
i hope you find out what it is. Good luck.
PS, if it is spider bites, this sound awful, but It helps a lot, take one part beach 2 to 4 parts water on a compress or cloth, make it cold, put it in the freezer for a few minutes and put it on the wound. It seems to kill the toxin from certain spider bites. Like Brown Recluse bites. You could also go to a swimming pool that is chlorinated, its just as good to kill the toxin in the bite that the spider left behind. None the less, that bite usually needs Keflex or something similar to get rid of the infection it causes.

If you were not on any medicine then it can be an insect bite. Nail polish will not work by any means. If the bitten site is not infected then use corticosteroid twice a day for one week. Also take anti allergy tablet orally.
