Why Is Ok Always Written Properly As OK?

Answer Question

Nobody knows for sure where the expression O.K. comes from, but it is usually put in capital letters because people assume that it must have come from two original words. Some think it could be a version of "All Correct" which was then jokingly changed to "orl korrect." I once heard that it could derive from the modern Greek "Oli kala" or "All well." One theory even suggests that it come from the name of a Native American chief known as Old Keokuk.

On the other hand, some people think "okay" is actually a word, in which case you spell it with a small "o." There are words in several languages - including Choctaw and Burmese - that have a word similar to "okay" although it is impossible to say which, if any of them, is the "real" one.

The term O.K. Stands for 0 (Zero) Killed.  I'm not sure, but I believe it derived from either the Civil War or World War I.

The meaning I know is "Ola Kala" "Everything's Alright" in Greek because I am Greek. I don't know about the Civil War meaning but it could be possible too.
