So, i think the best present would be: Spend the his whole birthday with him Secondly, try to take him out if possible for whole day i think in this way he will feel good and valuable.

Maybe cook his favorite foods for him, and spend as much time with him as you can.

Plan a whole day for him with favorite foods and activities. I would make a memory book for him full of family and friend photos and tell him stories about his life and his achievements.

Having Alzheimer's is a horrible thing. I can relate to this because my Grandmother died from this. Get him something for his Birthday that he has always like for example my Grandmother loved Angels so for her Birthday I would get her a angel that would play music she loved music and the last angel that I got her before she died was one that played How Great Thou Art. This was special for me and her both. Alzheimer's love anything Sweet!!!!Cakes, Cookies, Candy. I know this because I work in a Alzheimer's Unit and they love Sweets. Hope this helps some
