If you do that, there's two possible outcomes. If you already install the software into your own computer, and the package require S/N or keys, once you put it and if the software is only for one system, your friend can't use the same code to install. On the other hand, piracy could be serious crime(most people don't agree with me). A third scenario, people download free stuff all the time, and what happen if your friend had malware or trojan hiding in their system, the malicious code can be transported to the setup engine, and you will be the one who's going suffer the consequencies.
