Answer Question

This all depends on the person. It has never been scientifically proven that apples can fight off all known diseases or ailments which would warrant someone to go consult a doctor. However, if a person eats a lot of fruits such as apples, then they may prevent various illnesses or diseases.

"An Apple a day Keeps the Doctor Away" is a proverb that is used by many people to mean that it is essential to eat a diet that includes a lot of different fruits. Fruits contain the vitamins that the body needs to build its immune system, and the more fruits that a person eats, the more like they are to have a stronger and healthier immune system.

Although apples will not cure illnesses and diseases, they will prevent some occurring. Apples are rich in vitamin C, protein, pectin, natural sugars, copper, and iron, which make them a very healthy choice for a good snack.
