Can You Define Some De Facto Standards Which Are Still Implemented?

There are many standard in data communication, they can be categorized in two types i.e. De facto and Dejure, but the Defect standards are those which are not recommended by any Standard Organization in the world. I need some examples of these standards. Thanks!

    Defacto standards in data communication is format, language or protocol which has become a standard all over the world. Some De facto standards still in use are:
    Hewlett-Packard Printer Control Language (PCL) for laser printers.
    Hayes command set for controlling modems
    Kermit Communications Protocol
    PostScript page description language for laser printers
    Xmodem Communications Protocol
