Possibly. It depends on your work duties. If your work requires you to be able to drive then it might be justified to let the other employees know. But if it isn't required for you to drive in your job description, then, that should have no bearing on what you do for your boss, and he shouldn't be able to discuss that with any one. Your best bet however, is to consult a lawyer in the matter. A consult is cheaper than hiring.
