My Deadbolt Is Stuck And We Can't Get In Or Out It, How Do We Get It Undone?
My deadbolt is stuck and we cant get in or out it. If there is a fire by the screen and the door to the garage we cant get out. So we might have to go out the one with the stuck deadbolt. How do I get it undone?

Since you are not a burglar and have access to the inside of the house already, the solution is simple. Tap the hinge pins out of the hinges and lift the whole door away from the door frame/jam. Take the deadbolt out. Put the door back in the frame. Install new deadbolt. And if you're worried about a fire, make sure you have smoke detectors throughout the house. That is what will get you out of the house.

Call a locksmith, and have them drill it out, remove it and you can install a new deadbolt yourself. Hope this helps, good luck to you.
