How Often Should A 2001 PT Cruiser Timing Belt Be Changed? (Manual Trans)
My PT has about 65,000 miles on it and a mechanic said it may be time to change it. Is this true?

Change the timing belt at the recommended time always because loose timing belt can result in poor running and loss of power, while a broken timing belt can cause your valves to crash into your pistons.Timing belts fail without warning so it is better to change it at the recommended intervals.
Your PT has about 65,000 miles recommended time so change it to avoid any future loss.
