Why Are My Chiken So Tuff And Leane?i Feed Them3griane Scratch&layer Crums,what Am I Doin Wrong?

What kind of chickens do you have? Some don't make good eating chickens. How old are they too? If they are game chickens I believe they would be more lean and tougher. Usually the large breed or heavy breeds make better meat chickens. You want to butcher the chickens when they are about 12 to 16 weeks, or when they reach a weight of about four pounds.

What I do is I give them cooked oatmeal and sometimes poped popcorn!  They also like cooked rice, peelings of potatoes,and they are like little dumpsters!(L.O.L) you can feed them any thing pretty much! And they also eat grass AND chicken. Just don't give them paper and stuff like that!
