What Is Poker ?

Poker is a popularly played card game in which the players with completely or partially hidden cards make bets into a main pot. The pot then goes to the player who has the most excellent arrangement of cards or to the player who makes a bet that is not called.

Poker can be played in a number of variations, but the majority of the games follow the same fundamental set of basic rules. The right to deal every hand normally goes round the players and is characterised by a token known as a dealer button.

Poker can also mean video poker, a one player game found in casinos, quite similar to a slot machine.
